Very minimal and limited, and theyre all overpriced. None of the items are really worth it. For e.g., their chicken is overcooked over some pureed black beans, chicken gets stock in your throat and add bean to it to make you suffocate. For 3 fries pieces, chicken over black beans and some chili sauce on the side you pay 50 dollars . You also dont get a good service, design of drinks are not the same for the same order, as if Juan in the back just ran out of glasses and gave a homeless a drink. You pay all this price just for the dark cozy area which is outdoor with a loud music, so your romantic date is pretty much a party where you should shout in to get heard or share some love. Choose your restaurants wisely so you dont just pay for a patio setting. The only thing spectacular about this place is the ambience. Otherwise the food is decent, really small portions for a crazy price, and our service was not the best. Our server was really impatient. It was our first time there and that didn t seem to click in her brain.

Stellar experience. Minor confusion with the hosts upon arrival but they went above and beyond to make it right. Absolutely beautiful space that makes you forget you are in the heart of Hollywood. Warm ambiance, beautiful foliage and decor, gorgeous table wear, impeccable service, delicious food. Highly recommend this place, can t wait to come back!

We reserved a table for 6pm for dinner on a Tuesday where it wasn t extremely busy at the time but got busier during the next hour. The host was very welcoming, and very attentive. He recommended how many dishes would be enough for 2 people. STARTERS - 1/2 DOZEN OYSTERS Jalapeno Mignonette, Cocktail Sauce. The oysters were smaller than I usually have but they were fresh and good as a starter. - TACOS FRITOS Prawns, Yukon Gold Potatoes, Marisco Salsa, Avocado. This was delicious where the flavours mixed well. MAINS: -COCHINITA PIBIL Heritage Pork, Banana Leaf, Achiote, Bitter Orange - LAMB SHARK BARBACOA Braised Lamb Shank, Pickled Carrots, Pickled Pearl Onions These both came with taco wrappings and it was bit too much for two of us as we already had a starter each. However flavours were amazing! The lamb shank and the pork was so tender! So delicious! Would say pork was the best out of the two. SIDE: PAPAS BRAVAS Fingerling Potatoes, Umeboshi Aioli, Chives - seasoned well but was way too much so could have done without the potatoes! TOTAL PRICE: approx $260 (including tip) OVERALL EXPERIENCE: 5 out of 5 as host was amazing, interior decor was lovely even though it is outside they have heaters to keep you warm but do remember to bring a jacket unless you are getting drunk on cocktails. Food was delicious which complimented the ambience of the place. Would definitely recommend this place if you re visiting LA as it has a fusion Mexican feel. Would say it is reasonable price if you can afford to go! Thank you again Ka teen for a great experience!

Had a wonderful dinner experience here. It definitely doesn t feel LA, nice tropical vibe. Beautiful ambience, very romantic, great for dates but came here with a group for a birthday celebration. The staff was very friendly and on point. The margaritas were fantastic. The food was bomb, we had such a feast and there was nothing I didn t like. Everything was mouth watering and delicious. The Pescado Z and Carne Asada Ribeye was done perfectly. Thank you Ka teen for hosting a lovely evening.

I recently visited and had a disappointing experience. Despite arriving on time for our reservation, we were bluntly greeted by the hostess, who informed us that the kitchen was already closed. This was especially frustrating because the reservation page clearly stated the kitchen would be open for another 30 minutes beyond our reservation. It was disheartening to feel unwelcome and unable to enjoy our planned meal. I hope management addresses these inconsistencies in service and communication.

I hate to be negative but the food was awful. I had the fried tacos with prawn and potato they were awful, puréed potato no sign of prawn and the salsa was more like Italian sauce a fresh salsa would have been nicer. The jicama was also not great they didn t feel very fresh quite heavy and kind of felt stale. The sauces were nice. For the prices the hotel is charging the food needs to be banging good. We eat amazing Mexican food in Australia at our favourite restaurant Radio Mexico their food is so fresh and tasty and it is sooooo good and a great variety of dishes. I felt there were no cheaper entree options that were smaller for dining solo. The ambience was really good and my passionfruit margarita is delicious too just a shame the food doesn t match! Next time I visit I would only come for drinks!

The bar had already closed but they were nice enough to seat me there for a near closing time dinner. Hamachi ceviche was nicely presented and had nice ingredients but I found it a bit salty. The tamal with mole sauce was good. Interesting cocktails, Mexican wines and great vibe.

Stayed the night here at hotel volume. Here on business. And this restaurant is at the hotel I had the breakfast burrito with chips and guacamole All was extremely overpriced And the burrito had absolutely no flavor, except for the scorched tortilla The guacamole was good and the chips were good It s an outdoor restaurant type of setting Too cool for my taste, weatherwise But I was not impressed with the food with no flavor The Coke was flat, no carbonation And the service was OK But the waiter was extremely either busy or distracted I couldn t tell But it took forever to get the check And then it took forever for him to finally get back to the table for me to pay Just not a fan Way overpriced for poor service and tasteless food

Our server was incredibly polite and helpful with suggestions. The cocktails were all delicious. Brunch options were great! The flan pancakes are an excellent choice. They weren t overly sweet which was great. Definitely will be coming back!
